Remember Lerp? He’s back, and he has candy for your eyes. Benjymous has posted an all too short glimpse of the Lerp intro sequence, which is guaranteed to please at least two of your senses. Read on for a slightly older video featuring a dash of gameplay.

  8. that looks awesome

  9. looks like a movie trailer at the beginning

  10. Looks as good as any of the big name indy games. as a matter of fact it instantly made me think of thatgamecompany style games with the intro video.

  11. real good work, Richard. Great music as well. I’m definitely looking forward to this.

  12. Need any beta testers?

  13. I lerv it.

  14. Yeah I like it. Quite looking forward to having a go at this. I assume it’s gonna be freeware right?

  15. wow looks good

  16. well the music he is using is under creative commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.0 Generic so a assume that if he uses it in his game he will have to release it freely

  17. “…is under creative commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.0 Generic …”

Wow…I had to Google that just to make sure you weren’t being sarcastic and making it up… Freaking licensing is so complicated now a days.

  18. @Soulkiller: he made it sound more complicated than it is because he was trying to make it clearer what he was talking about. It’s like if I said “that’s under the GNU’s Not Unix Lesser General Public License version 3” rather than “That’s under LGPL v3”. Most people refer to the Creative Commons licenses as CC but usually leave the extra part such as “Attribution-Noncommercial-Share-Alike” because there are different types of CC licenses and I personally prefer a slightly more verbose license name that actually describes the license rather than this GPL / LGPL / MIT / BSD / Apache license business where you have to go read the whole doc just to get a semblance of an idea of what your rights are.

  19. Looks great! Can’t wait to play it.
I agree about the intro, too, it looks professional!

  20. So what about Project Pandora? Still nearly finished but not quite?
