Pandora’s Git Repository reveals some secrets, like WPA support for WiFi

January 28, 2009

The Pandora Git Repository has been open for a while now and has rapidly swelled from its original size. The repo now includes more sub-repos, including the wifi repo – thi contains a library called “WPA supplicant” – so looks like we have WPA support too. This is probably already in the specs, but it should be interesting to see what else we can dig up.

  2. 🙂

  3. I’d hope it would include WPA. Wireless support is useless without functioning security standards.

  4. Yeah I thought it would too, but it’s reassuring to see the code right there.

  5. I’ll be happy if I can get vpnc working on it; our WPA network is flaky, and our main network requires vpnc

  6. it was said that most of these security things are software based and therefore its not that interesting, especially seeing that it was said that it would support all the common stuff
